Copa Fut Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Copa Fut across web, mobile, and public pages. Current legal documents are published on Copa Fut’s public legal pages, acceptance is recorded by the backend at sign-up, and renewed acceptance may be required to keep access to authenticated areas when a new mandatory version is published.

Copa Fut Terms of Use Document version: 2026-04-18 Reference date: April 18, 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Copa Fut, including its web, mobile, public pages, and features related to football and futsal league and competition management.

You accept these Terms when you:

  1. create a Copa Fut account and complete sign-up with acceptance of the required documents;
  2. access or use authenticated areas of the platform after a valid expression of agreement; or
  3. provide renewed acceptance when an updated mandatory version of these Terms is published and presented for continued use.

The current Copa Fut legal documents are published on public legal pages and identified by version. During sign-up, the backend records acceptance of the required documents. If a new mandatory version is published, Copa Fut may require renewed acceptance to keep access to authenticated areas.

If you use Copa Fut on behalf of a league, competition, organization, team, company, or third party, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms to the extent applicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

As a general rule, a Copa Fut account is intended for adults with legal capacity, as well as authorized representatives of legal entities, leagues, sports organizations, competitions, and teams.

You represent that the information provided during registration and while maintaining your account is true, complete, and up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials, devices, authenticated sessions, and recovery methods confidential. Activities carried out through your account will be attributed to you unless you demonstrate unauthorized misuse.

Copa Fut may offer local email-and-password login, Google login, and session renewal through refresh tokens. The availability, continuity, or compatibility of third-party authentication integrations depends on technical factors and external services and may change without notice.

3. Description of the service

Copa Fut is a digital platform for football and futsal league and competition management. Depending on the user profile, permissions, applicable plan, and competition configuration, the service may include features for:

  • authentication and account management;
  • management of leagues, competitions, teams, athletes, refereeing, matches, and standings;
  • posts, media, and public pages;
  • auxiliary operational tools connected to sports administration.

Copa Fut is intended to support sports and administrative operations. The platform does not replace professional legal, medical, accounting, financial, regulatory, or sporting advice.

Copa Fut may change, evolve, restrict, or discontinue features for technical, operational, commercial, regulatory, or security reasons.

4. Plans, permissions, and availability

Some features, usage limits, and permissions may vary depending on the user role, active plan, and competition configuration.

The existence of different plans, access levels, or permission rules does not mean that any specific feature is promised to be available without restriction across every platform or use case.

Copa Fut is provided according to current technical and operational availability. Maintenance, temporary downtime, degraded performance, security adjustments, interface changes, and changes to third-party integrations may occur.

5. User content, third-party data, and public publication

You are responsible for the data, texts, names, images, media, documents, marks, logos, and other content that you submit, store, upload, or publish in Copa Fut.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authorizations required to use that content and data in the platform.

To the extent necessary to operate the service, you grant Copa Fut a limited, non-exclusive license tied to platform operation to store, process, organize, technically reproduce, and display the content you submit.

When you enable public visibility features or publish content on pages, links, shares, leagues, competitions, or matches, you acknowledge that this information may become accessible outside authenticated areas of the platform, depending on product configuration.

You may only enter personal data relating to third parties when it is necessary for legitimate sports, operational, or administrative purposes and when you have authorization, representation, valid instructions, or another applicable legal basis.

6. Children, teenagers, and guardians

The main Copa Fut account is not intended for autonomous use by children as account holders.

The product may be used to register and manage competitions involving minor athletes, youth categories, registrations with guardians, and other sports workflows in which organizers process data relating to children and teenagers.

By entering, maintaining, updating, publishing, or sharing data relating to minor athletes, legal guardians, or sports registration records, you represent that:

  1. you act as an organizer, representative, legal guardian, or another person legitimately authorized to carry out that processing;
  2. you will use only the data necessary for the competition purpose;
  3. you will observe the best interests of the child or teenager; and
  4. you will obtain any authorizations and consents required under applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use Copa Fut only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. The following conduct is prohibited, among others:

  • accessing or attempting to access areas, accounts, data, APIs, or features without authorization;
  • interfering with the security, stability, or performance of the service;
  • bypassing technical limits, access controls, plan restrictions, or permission rules;
  • using scraping, abusive automation, bots, or similar means for unauthorized data collection;
  • impersonating another person, organization, league, team, or responsible party;
  • publishing unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • entering personal data of third parties without legitimacy or an applicable legal basis;
  • using the platform to violate sports regulations, copyright, trademarks, image rights, privacy, data protection rules, or third-party contractual obligations.

8. Privacy and data protection

Personal data processing in Copa Fut is supplemented by the applicable Privacy Policy tied to the same versaoDocumento, when published.

These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy. For matters directly related to personal data processing, the Privacy Policy must be read together with these Terms.

Subject to applicable legal limitations, requests relating to personal data and data subject rights may be sent to suporte@copafut.com.br.

9. Intellectual property

Copa Fut, its software, interfaces, layout, visual identity, trademarks, trade name, institutional texts, documentation, databases, and other platform assets belong to Copa Fut and/or its licensors, as applicable.

Subject to these Terms, you receive only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the platform for its ordinary intended purpose.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, disassemble, reverse engineer, create unauthorized derivative works from, or commercially exploit the platform outside the scope permitted by law and these Terms.

10. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

Copa Fut may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform, in whole or in part, if there is evidence or confirmation of:

  • breach of these Terms;
  • fraud or security risk;
  • abusive use of the platform;
  • attempted unauthorized access;
  • infringement of third-party rights;
  • applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

You may stop using the service at any time. When the account deletion flow is available for your profile, it may be used according to the rules published in the product.

When an account is deleted through the product’s own flow, the backend deactivates the account, anonymizes key profile fields, invalidates persisted authenticated sessions, and deactivates linked devices. Records that need to be preserved for sports history, security, fraud prevention, system integrity, legal claims, or compliance with legal obligations may be retained, blocked, or anonymized as permitted by applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Copa Fut will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of opportunity, loss of revenue, third-party downtime, external connectivity failures, misuse of credentials, incorrectly entered information, or acts of third parties outside its reasonable control.

Copa Fut is also not responsible for decisions, penalties, requirements, validations, restrictions, or impediments imposed by federations, independent leagues, organizers, app stores, authentication providers, storage services, delivery providers, or other third parties outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

Copa Fut may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, security measures, operational changes, or evolution in the model for publishing legal documents.

Each version must be identified by versaoDocumento.

Where there is a material change and the applicable flow requires it, Copa Fut may request renewed acceptance for continued use of authenticated areas.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection and data protection rules where applicable.

Any dispute will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to suporte@copafut.com.br.
